Protection Officer (residential care)
- Making sure protection services are provided for the orphans and street children at Kili Residential Care Centre.
(make availability of the following: Food for children, Clothing (sandals, shoes, etc), Shelter (house rent, beds and mattresses, blankets and bed sheets), purchasing land to build our own premise, building of a new kitchen or renovating the existing one and Health services for children.
Expected knowledge, skills and attitudes:
- Social and community dev. work skills
- Education background in social and community development work
- Work experience in social and community dev. work (provision of protection services)
Working at the Kili Centre can be a rewarding experience. We expect all our staff to acknowledge that they are working with children who have perhaps not had the best start in life. We expect alongside your duties that you take time to interact with them and become an important role model. All roles are currently available on a volunteer basis until such time that the centre starts to generate the required funds to include salaries for all staff.
