Michael,
I am a student in the US earning my bachelors degree in May 2009. I, and a friend, were interested in volunteering with your wonderful organization! We have a lot to offer, and would love the opportunity to be apart of bettering the lives of these children. I’ve worked in the nonprofit sector and have tremendous experience working with children. If you could contact me with more information about volunteering, I would really appreciate it. I’m also not sure where we could fit in, but like I said, we have a lot we could offer if given the opportunity!
Hope to hear from you soon,
Kirsten
Halo Michael
I am a Tanzanian, married-young man of thirty four year-old. I have a wife and a son.i would like to volunteer in your organisation.
In addition to my determination to volunteer, I have a strong desire to work as a patron for an orphanage because I have spent my entire childhood at an orphanage here in Moshi (Moshi Chapel). This moment of my life got me to experience the kind of life there, accumulated so much experience that I would like to pass and share with the children at Kili Centre. Therefore; Kili centre will not only be as a working area, but also my home.
Thanks
Dear Michael,
The Kilimanjaro Centre sounds like a wonderful organization that achieves some incredible work for the orphans and street children who live there!
I am a 23 year old female from England and am hiking Mount Kilimanjaro from 18th-27th September ’09 to raise funds for a children’s charity in the UK. I am currently learning Swahili and am experienced in teaching and working with children of all ages. At 17, I worked in the Ssesse Islands in Uganda, teaching at nursery schools and attending school lessons myself. I am very creative when it comes to performance and crafts and have worked in the charitable sector for the last two years. I would be incredibly grateful for the opportunity to volunteer with the Kili Centre from 27th Sept’ to 30th October ’09.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Laura
I have some school supplies and book that I want to send to you. What address should I use? Is Irene Mmrema still working there? I had talked to her a few months ago and wanted to let her know I hadn’t forgotten our conversation of trying to get things for the children there.
